It is the closest thing to a country-house day out that is still inside Adelaide.

Mount Lofty Summit

Twelve kilometres up the road this property sits on, about fifteen minutes by car, and the view that explains the geography of the whole city. From the summit you look back down over Adelaide to the gulf, and Cleland Wildlife Park is on the way up if the children need koalas as well as a lookout.

Fifteen minutes of freeway and you are at Mount Lofty Summit; a little further and you are in Stirling, Aldgate and Hahndorf, with the Adelaide Hills wine country beyond.
